Projects
In this page, you will find some images and examples of collaborative projects I have been a part of during these past 3 years. Not only do I love learning new skills with the goal of becoming a successful independent artist, but also love collaborating with other talented souls - ether it be them helping me or me helping them.
During my student life, I have gained the opportunity of working with some Film and TV students as well as some fellow dedicated musicians. In the first two images you can see me and my good friend Zhanae working on my introductory performance video for my final solo performance. As well as this, Zhanae and other talented videographers have helped me to create music videos for my original material(s) in the past. I will always be grateful for my education in both Music and Film Studies, and therefore I have always loved getting involved in the editing and camera shots planning process as much as possible. It's always fun being a part of the creative process, and it has always been interesting to witness the different experiences you get from being in front of the camera and behind the camera. Not only have I collaborated with Film and TV students to create music videos, however I have also voluntarily helped other musicians with their own music videos as well as being involved in projects (such as interviews, talk shows and podcasts) that Film and TV students have asked me to be involved in.
Not only have I collabed with fellow Artists and Media professionals, however I have also gotten involved with societies where all students from all different performing arts courses unite to bring awareness to something they are passionate about. For the past 2 years and a half, I have been a part of the ACS (African Culture Society) which has given me the opportunity to collaborate with fellow musicians, actors and dancers to plan performances, create fun routines, and host Q&A's with professionals in order to shed light on different cultures and possible difficulties faced by those of colour in the industry. During my time in ASC, I have been nominated for being the Music Ambassador.
